Prof. Jeyraj Selvaraj

Jeyraj Selvaraj received the B.Eng. (Hons.) degree from Multimedia University, Malaysia, in 2002, the M.Sc. degree in power electronics and drives jointly from the University of Birmingham, Birmingham, U.K., and the University of Nottingham, Nottingham, U.K., in 2004, and the Ph.D. degree from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in 2009. He is currently a professor and deputy director of University Malaya Power Energy Dedicated Advanced Centre (UMPEDAC), University of Malaya. He has involved in the field of solar energy for more than 15 years. He has done more than 75 onsite inverter tests under the FiT, LSS and NEM scheme in Malaysia. He is also a member of IEEE, IEM and a member of working group committee on Photovoltaic Standards of Department of Standards Malaysia. He is one of the recipients of NAM research training fellowship for young scientist and Royal Academy Engineering UK’s Leaders in Innovation Fellowship in 2016 and 2017 respectively. In 2019 he was awarded the Erasmus+ Mobility Programme Fellowship followed by Asian Universities Alliance Scholarship in 2020. He has been awarded Top Research Scientist Malaysia (TRSM) by Academy of Science Malaysia 2024. He has around 150 publication both in ISI and Scopus. Dr Jeyraj is actively involved in research as a Principal Investigator with a total amount of research grants more than RM 3 million. His outstanding research had been recognized by Stanford University as the Top 2% of scientists in the world in 2021 to 2023. He is also a Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
Assoc. Prof. Andrei Korneev

Andrei Korneev received his bachelor's and master's degrees in
Electrical Engineering in Belarusian-Russian University in Belarus.
He is currently Assoc. Prof. at the same university. His research
focuses on monitoring, condition control, modeling and mitigation of
mechanical vibrations in electromechanical systems of lifting
equipment. Andrei Korneev is
author more than 20 articles in regional and international
conferences. He more than 30 articles in regional and international
journals. He has served as reviewer for more than 30 international
scientific conferences, publications of which are included in Scopus
and Web of Science. He participated in XIX International Competition
of Scientific Research Papers "Scientific Thought - 2022" and
received first-place diploma. He is reviewer in three international
journals that are members of the SCIREA scientific research
association: Journal of Energy (since 2023); International Journal
of Energy and Power Engineering (since 2023); and Science,
Engineering, and Technology (since 2026). He was reviewer in IEEE
International Symposium on Application of Artificial Intelligence in
Electrical Engineering, held April 25–28, 2025, in Beijing, China.
He was member of technical committee for 4th International Clean
Energy Forum, held in Seoul, South Korea, April 17–19, 2026.
